Dearest friends and supporters,
I suspect that it comes as no surprise, but I am sure you are as disappointed as we are to have to tell you that this year’s festival just can’t happen for a wide variety of reasons.
Our annual gathering of friends has quickly become so important to all of us and so many friends and musicians, and the thought of missing out this year is very sad, but ultimately the necessary and right thing to do.
We’ve seen your offers to donate your ticket money to support the festival and we’re so very grateful for your kindness. Unfortunately things are a bit more complicated than that, so it isn’t quite possible in the spirit you intended it, but we have some ideas and some plans, which we will share with you shortly.
For now, we wanted to let you know where things stand. There are still some details to be ironed out about refunds and ways to show your support, but for now trust that we are working on trying to look after everyone as best we can, as we always try to do.
Like we always do, I hope you’re able to carry some of the spirit of Peace, Love, and Rock ‘n’ Roll from the festival around with you.
