Roberta Landreth: The Visionary Behind Our Visuals
Once again, the incredible vision for our festival's look comes from the immensely talented Roberta Landreth. Hailing from Winnipeg, Canada, Roberta is a Juno Award-winning designer whose prestigious career includes not just that JUNO but also 3 Western Canadian Music Awards and 2 Covenant Awards. With over 75 album covers and hundreds of posters for bands and festivals under her belt, her unique ability to translate music and atmosphere into compelling visual art has become an integral and beloved part of the Static Roots aesthetic.
The Kestrel's Legacy: A Symbol of Americana Spirit
Many of you will fondly remember the kestrel from our 2024 design. That beautiful bird came to symbolize so much about the spirit of Americana music – its keen eyesight for clarity and honesty, its agility reflecting rhythmic energy and soaring melodies, and its resilience mirroring the enduring power of roots music. It also forged a lovely connection to our local surroundings.

Alongside our main festival art, we're also so excited to present the unique design for our first-ever Static Roots Welcome Night! This poster perfectly sets the stage for our "Honky Tonk Special" on Thursday, July 10th, at Restaurant Gdanska, featuring the brilliant Dom Glynn & His Sunday Best and the phenomenal Savannah Gardner & The Recovering Good Girls.
Notice how this design might capture a slightly different, perhaps more intimate vibe specific to the honky-tonk theme and the unique setting of Gdanska, while still feeling unmistakably part of the Static Roots visual family.

And, most importantly, this continues our heartfelt commitment: every single Euro of revenue (not just the profit margin!) from our merchandise sales goes directly to support the life-saving missions of Médecins Sans Frontières / Ärzte Ohne Grenzen (Doctors Without Borders). Thanks to your incredible generosity over the years, we've been able to donate more than €23,000 since the festival's inception. This partnership is a cornerstone of what Static Roots Festival stands for.
