Born in California but musically forged in the heart of Nashville, Emily Nenni is the real deal. She didn't take the polished, mainstream route to Music City success. Instead, she built her reputation from the ground up in legendary spots like Robert's Western World (famously bribing the band and doorman with cookies just to get stage time!). She found her true artistic home at Santa's Pub - a dive bar in a double-wide trailer - and became a central figure in the beloved "Honky Tonk Tuesday" scene at the American Legion Post 82.

When it comes to the underground, authentic country revival, Emily isn't just participating in the scene; she is leading it.

Her latest album, Drive & Cry (released via the prestigious New West Records), is an absolute masterpiece. Produced by John James Tourville and mixed by Matt Ross-Spang (known for his work with John Prine and Jason Isbell), the record perfectly captures her "sweet-and-sassy" chronicles of hard living, heartbreak, and empowerment.
